Thats a show? I thought it was just a single film. Anyway, yeah, I agree. Not that I think its a requirement for online friends to see/hear each other to be considered friends, but how would they not want to?

It was a documentary, but after that the guy who was in the documentary went on and found others in his situation and helps them meet. But yes, exactly. How would you not want to? And if you feel strongly enough about the person to label yourself “in a relationship” with them, how do certain things not get brought up? How do you not send pictures is the big one I’m confused about! I could almost forgive some of the others, but if I was in an online relationship with someone and I never got random pictures? Fucking sketchy as hell, man.

I just finished watching the same one. I completely agree with you. Some of the lies the 18 year old told the other girl were so fishy. I dont understand how she didnt catch on.

I don’t either. Like, how do you go to anesthesiology school… online? And did they never once talk on the phone? Because she sounded like a chick, or a prepubescent boy, from the get-go.
